So, the blizzard of 2016 was kind of a dud. I scurried around all weekend, prepping for what everyone thought would be the mother of all blizzards. I HAD to go to work the day it hit, only because they were making people take a day of vacation if they stayed home. Well, that's fine and dandy for those who actually have vacation, but for myself and my co-worker that haven't accrued vacation, we would have to take a day without pay. Ugh. So, I got up early, took care of the chickens, and headed out. It really wasn't that bad, but evidently the rest of the building thought better about braving the elements. It was a pretty quiet day.
