Soon They Will Be Gone…..

I have enjoyed these sweet hummingbirds for the last few months. I will miss the action at the feeder. I sense they will be migrating very soon, as there has been much more of a feeding frenzy than normal.I suspect they are taking in the travel calories. They are so hilarious to watch, the dive bombing and air attacks are pretty funny. I miss summer already, dreading the doldrums of winter.

Sunday we went to the Wabash, I never get sick of that place. I walked with Den and the dogs for a bit then I ran back to the trailhead. I think I'll try to get a few more trails runs in before the snow flies, there isn't anything better than the Wabash in the fall. Did I mention I'm dreading winter?
